
I know that I had not posted new recipies here for a very long time..Now that I'm back..will post quite a few "simple and uncomplicated ones"...
The fruit that you are seeing here is called "Kirini pallam" (in language, Tamil)...

I think it is called cantaloupes in English.

I liked its skin..lovely lines on them..each telling a story to each other.like a fly stitch in embroidery..Now you can understand why my DH calls me crazy/out of my mind..I'm more imaginative and each and every thing i've something to associate it with a stitch or art or whatever the heck i think.....Just enjoy the color of the flesh inside...lovely orange...It was not that ripe though..I had to smear the flesh with lotsa of sugar for my kids..They loved it with sugar...

One can also beat small pieces of its inside flesh in a blender with ice and sugar to result in a good healthy, delicious juice...Voila Cantaloupe juice...
